When looking for a doctor for your child, it is important to find an office that covers all of your needs. Our pediatric doctors office in Danbury CT offers a variety of different services, ranging from prenatal care to teen care.

You want a doctor who cares for your child and can take care of all health-related inquiries. What are some services you should be looking for in a doctor’s office?

Prenatal and Newborn Care:

Medical care for your child begins even before birth, so it is important to have a doctor who works with you during pregnancy and beyond. Our pediatric doctors office in Danbury CT is here for you every step of the way.

At The Center for Pediatric Medicine, we offer Monthly “Birth & Beyond” classes, which are prenatal newborn classes for parents. We want you to feel prepared to care for your newborn and we will support you in any way we can.

We also have infant care in our office. It is important during infancy to go to the doctors office for checkups, and you can feel comfortable with care from our board certified pediatricians.

Checkups:

Of course, another essential part of a pediatric doctor is those yearly checkups. Whether it be a regular checkup or a physical for school, you want to have a pediatrician that can cover it all.

Our pediatric doctors office in Danbury CT is a one-stop-shop for pediatric checkups, offering a variety of services. When you leave our office, you will feel confident that all of your needs were addressed.

At our pediatric office, we offer school and sports physicals. Physicals are required for students who are playing a sport at their school, and some schools require all students to get a physical. At your appointment, we are more than happy to complete these physicals for you.

Additionally, we can do in-house vision and hearing screenings. We offer these screenings at your check-up, so you don’t need to go to a specialist for them. If necessary after the screening, we can always refer you to a specialist.

Urgent Care Capabilities:

In addition to scheduled checkups, it is important that your pediatrician is capable of urgent care. In case of an emergency, you want a doctor you know that you can trust to help you. When you come in for sick visits, we can do on site diagnosis and treatment.

If you are in need of urgent care, our office has same day appointment availability. We are open 7 days a week, 362 days out of the year. We have evening appointments available as well.

Our top priority is being there for you and your family. That is why we have pediatric nurses available 24/7 over the phone. If our office is closed and you need to speak to a nurse, our hotnice will route you to a specialist. If you are experiencing an emergency, however, please call 911.

Specialized care:

Finally, when looking for a pediatric doctors office, you should go to an office that offers specialized care for various needs. If your child has special health needs, it is crucial that your doctor is accommodating.

At our pediatric doctors office in Danbury CT, we have various accommodations and resources for children with special health needs. We want to care for each and every patient to the best of our ability. We are dedicated to providing care for various health needs.

Some of the different services we offer include ADHD treatment, cholesterol management, and concussion care. We also have a registered dietitian on our staff, to help your child with any nutrition-related needs.

As you can see, there are many services that are important to look for in a pediatric doctors office. At the Center for Pediatric Medicine, you can trust that your child is receiving the best possible care.
