Paola Jackson, APRN

Paola Jackson is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care (CPNP - PC). After receiving her BS in Biology and Psychology at Wheaton College, she obtained a BSN at Gwynedd Mercy University with honors. Paola has experience working in the healthcare field since 2012 in various roles. As a nurse, she worked primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). There she served as PICU Community Service Co-Chair, a Global Allies Program Participant, and was involved in the PICU Speak Easy Program which seeks to bridge language barriers seen in the unit. Her passion for the pediatric population led her to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors. Paola is passionate about preventative care and educational opportunities with families. She additionally serves as a bilingual provider in both English and Spanish.

Aside from the joys of working in the field of pediatrics, Paola enjoys spending time outside, often walking or hiking with her family and her adopted Bernese Mountain Dog. One of her favorite trips was to Yosemite, CA in which she and her husband got the opportunity to climb Half Dome with the iconic cables!
