We have exciting news!
We are happy to announce that Dr’s. Pushpa Mani, Krissy Satchi, Aparna Madisetty, Jen Handau, APRN, and Pam Barrett, PA, formerly affiliated with Childcare Associates, have joined the Center for Pediatric Medicine. As we look ahead to managing the growing pediatric healthcare needs of our community, we are adding another location at 83 Sand Pit Road, Danbury, CT 06810. We are confident that the addition of these providers and location will benefit all our patients. Rajadevi Satchi, the founder of Childcare Associates has retired. We congratulate her and thank her for her many years of serving the pediatric population in Danbury.
Center for Pediatric Medicine has been a leader and a thriving pediatric office in Danbury and New Fairfield for more than 31 years, most recently under the skillful leadership and direction of President and Pediatrician, Dr. Ana Paula Machado, and her co-partner, Dr. Poonam Bherwani.
“The expanded Center for Pediatric Medicine will continue to provide quality care and individual attention to our patients and families with a focus on patient satisfaction,” said Dr. Machado, who noted the Center for Pediatric Medicine has an experienced leadership and clinical team with more than 100 years of experience. Machado said she was also excited to welcome Dr. Pushpa Mani and Dr. Krishanthi Satchi to the Center for Pediatric Medicine’s Board of Directors.
Patients of Center for Pediatric Medicine will now have four convenient clinical locations, three in Danbury and one in New Fairfield. Our practice will continue to offer extended evening and weekend hours.
Patients will have access to 17 board-certified physicians, APRNs, PAs, nutritionists, and lactation specialists.
Center for Pediatric Medicine will continue to offer its patients the latest in technology and care while maintaining a personal approach to medicine. CPM has a separate administrative office which houses its management team, billing department, call center, and specialty suites.
The staff at CPM is looking forward to working with the team of excellent providers formerly with Childcare Associates. CPM is, and CCA was, a patient-centered medical home (PCHM). Using the PCMH model allows a practice to deliver a patient-centered, culturally appropriate, and team-based approach to patient care across the healthcare system.
